Congratulations to our Principal Challenge winners!

School: Cresaptown Elementary School, Cresaptown, MD

Date/Time: March 5 at 2:00-3:00
Challenge: Timed cake decorating challenge, Mrs. Roxanne Reuse and Bill McElvie, local store manager, will act as the "cake boss" for the team and teach the students how to decorate the cakes. The teams have 10 minutes to complete the task. Most professional decorated cake wins, voting will occur from the entire student body.

Challenge: Dr. Sponchiado has challenged our local store manager to a "GIANT” Sumo wrestling contest.

School: St. Joseph School – York
Principal: Beth Brennan
Date/Time: March 21 at 9:30-11AM
Challenge: Kevin McDonald , local store manager, vs. Beth Brennan plus a few students for each team to "Make Lunch for Our Kids." Lunch will be made for the entire student body (est. 340 students). They will have 7 minutes to chop celery, tear lettuce, peel carrots & cucumbers, and grill chicken.

School: Holy Family Catholic School, Nazareth, PA
Principal: Colette Fisher
Date/Time: March 23 at 4:30 – 5:30
Challenge: Who can fill a grocery cart with the most non-perishable items (having the highest retail value) in 30 seconds? All items collected will be donated to the Nazareth Area Food Bank.

School: Cedar Crest Middle School, Lebanon, PA
Principal: Mrs. Mariah Rackley
Date/Time: March 27 at 1:45-2:45
Challenge: The student’s basketball team will challenge the Giant employees to one game of basketball with: referees, girl’s team and boy’s team, 2-10 minute halves, 5 players on the court for each team and 5 minute half time "prep talk”.
