Carlisle, PA  GIANT Food Stores LLC of Carlisle, Pennsylvania has entered into a sales agreement with Safeway, Inc. to acquire two Bucks County Genuardi's. The stores are located at 1055 Bustleton Pike in Feasterville and 389 Easton Road in Warrington.

Both stores will close on November 13 at 6:00 PM to undergo remodels and renovations and will re-open under the GIANT banner during the first quarter of 2011. Current Genuardi's associates will have the opportunity to transfer to other Genuardi's stores. If the associates choose not to transfer, they will have an opportunity to interview for a position with GIANT.
