MS Walk

Associates and customers come together to form "Team MARTIN’S" in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. Participants raise funds for education, advocacy, research, and local programs that enhance the quality of life for people with MS. The funds raised by “Team MARTIN’S” specifically benefit six local chapters of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society in our Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia operating areas. Team MARTIN’S was the #1 National Walk Team for three consecutive years.

In 2003, MARTIN’S was inducted as a Charter Member of the MS Corporate Star award program. The Corporate Star program recognizes corporations that invest both human and financial resources in the fight against MS by encouraging volunteerism, lending their good names to fund raising efforts, contributing in-kind and cash sponsorships, supporting the establishment of corporate teams, providing expertise and leadership for National MS Society chapters, advocating for increased accessibility for those disabled by MS or other causes, and directly funding scientific research and programs for people with MS through foundation grants or outright corporate gifts.

Team MARTIN’S raised over $400,000 in 2004.
