The New England Aquarium evaluates the seafood we purchase and provides recommendations on which wild-caught and farm-raised seafood sources are the better choices for the environment. We also work with the New England Aquarium and our suppliers to develop improvement plans so the seafood we buy is caught or farmed in an increasingly environmentally responsible way.

Through our partnership, the New England Aquarium and MARTIN’S are researching sustainable seafood sources and developing long-term purchasing initiatives that consider the environment.
